Coming back to Texas we went by the way of Sedona and across the northern part of New Mexico. The scenery was spetacular as was the drive thru the mountains. Who would have known there was an art show going on in Sedona. I had to come home with a neat piece of pottery.
The mountain and desert scenery was really beautiful. We drove thru the Sierra Ancha Mountains and the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. We spent our last night in Roswell, New Mexico where we were hoping to see an alien spaceship that night. But wouldn't you know it none appeared. Someone did knock on our hotel room door, but we were to afraid to open it. (Could it have been an alien?)
