Jim thinks he must have gotten a message from above but not sure what it was. He was in the boat putting the boat cover on during a wild rain storm. While there a lightening bolt hit the peak of the boathouse right above him. It came thru shattering a 2x4 and searing the wood. The sparks were flying and he was surrounded by white light. It knocked him down and his glasses went flying. Wood splinters were flying everywhere. He said he started talking to himself to see if he could still hear. The noise was very loud. It was a little scary. Those Texas storms can be wild. I was at the hospital with my Mom and Dad. Wouldn't that have been great to come home and find him in the bottom of the boat. Next time you need to stay in the house husband!
